Please bring: all previous chest X-rays and CT scan films (physical films, not just reports); all previous spirometry or lung function reports; a complete list of all current medications including inhalers (or the inhalers themselves — I will assess your technique); any GP referral letter or discharge summaries from hospital admissions; your personal medical history including any known allergies; and if you have a home peak flow meter, your peak flow diary. Bringing previous investigations allows me to review them personally rather than ordering duplicates — saving time and resources.
